Project Description
This project involved the renovation of 100,000 square feet of an existing 200,000 square foot manufacturing facility that was originally designed for Wolverine Tube. The Israeli based company produces nonwoven fabric for the medical industry. 40,000 square feet of the facility was dedicated to raw material and finished goods storage. The 60,000 square foot manufacturing area had a 350 foot automated inline nonwoven production equipment line with a capacity of 12-14,000 tons per year. The manufacturing area also includes support spaces, high pressure water pumps, boilers and automated controls. This process area was totally conditioned, humidity controlled and the warehouse was designed for flexibility and automated material handling.
