Silverlanding Manufacturing and Distribution Center
Charlotte, North Carolina
The Silverlanding Manufacturing and Distribution Center has prime access to the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. This first building is part of an approximately 35-acre Industrial Park Master Plan located on Steele Creek Road and Byrum Drive (soon to be the new NC 160/West Boulevard). The Park is directly across from the new fourth runway of Charlotte Douglas International Airport and the future intermodal rail yard.
The 125,400 square foot building has tilt-up concrete panels and features 30'-0" clear bays that are 50'x54' with a 60' bay at the loading dock area. The expanded bay spacing will accommodate more efficient rack layouts. The design of the building incorporates ideas from early train stations featuring a sweeping arch and accented entry elements that tie the building to its transportation surroundings. The building will be completed in the third quarter of 2010. Replico Corporation recently leased the entire building to consolidate and expand its operations in Charlotte.
Future plans for Silverlanding call for the construction of three additional buildings that will bring the park to a total of approximately 500,000 square feet.
