Unifirst Expansion

Project Summary
Unifirst is a leading supplier of uniforms and work wear related products.  The 26,600 SF addition included office and warehouse space.  The warehouse area was designed to house a new multi-level garment conveyor system which is supported by the roof structure above.  A 6,500 SF mezzanine was constructed for use as office space with a two-story glass entrance lobby.

Substantial site modifications were included in this project.  Property parcels were combined and new visitor, employee and truck parking was provided while allowing access to an undeveloped property owned by Unifirst.  A new storm water retention pond was also constructed.

Renovations in the existing plant included demolition of an existing mezzanine structure and the construction of a main facility break room.  The break room was designed with a partially covered outdoor seating area complete with a fixed barbeque grill and decorative perimeter masonry walls.
